Narrative CV
My artistic practice and research operate at the intersection of media art, systems strategy, and consciousness. Drawing on documentary, immersive installations, sound, and systems design, my work seeks to move beyond the paradigm of separation, using aesthetic experience as a way of mapping complex interrelationships.
In parallel with my artistic practice, I consult with NGOs, organizations, and public institutions to build knowledge management platforms and social innovationm strategies.
My work has been exhibited across Latin America, North America, and Europe. I received the National New Media Prize from the Ministry of Culture of Peru for Ruta de Fuga, an interactive web documentary mapping over 7,000 km of the Venezuelan diaspora.
My current research focuses on bridging analytical systems with intuitive paradigms, developing a framework for art, technology and consciousness grounded in Latin American perspectives. This inquiry forms the foundation of my forthcoming book, Between Heaven and Earth.
I have completed international artist residencies, including at Mana Contemporary (Miami), Gao Bo Studio (Beijing) and Artscape Gibraltar Point (Toronto). In 2018, I served as the Artist-in-Residence at La Victoria Lab, Intercorp’s innovation lab in Peru.
I hold a double BA in Economics and Development Studies from Brown University, an MFA with Honors in Documentary Media from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in New Media from the University of British Columbia.
